I obtained this at auction many moons ago along with several other items from Marquard's estate including HOF annual passes etc. This is a first edition (I think?) copy of The Glory Of Their Times that was given to Rube by the author Larry Ritter. Ritter signed and inscribed the book to Rube. This has been certified by JSA.
The stories (true or not) of Rube in this book quite literally got him into the Hall of Fame. To say he is the "star" of this book may be accurate. And this is his personal copy of that book given to him by and inscribed to him by, the author.
For collectors of Glory Of Their Times items, this is truly a one of a kind piece that may not become available again.
I am looking to get $500 for it.
