Not sure the purpose of this sign. It is from 1971 reflecting back on Dave McNally’s Grand Slam Homerun on 13 October 2024 in Game 3 of the 1971 WS. The sign would look a lot better without the bottom white section (Orioles vs. Oakland handwritten). At the top it says “Best in Baseball!” Below the picture of McNally touching Homeplate being congratulated by his excited and surprised teammates it says “Grand Slam Action!” with the bird and his crown. On the reverse side the Oakland Athletics laid out the locker room in hand written form of all their players and their assigned lockers. The sign is cardboard and measures 13 in X 17 in (approximately).

Possibly displayed in the ticket windows. If so, then it would make sense to have the team they are playing; in your case “Oakland”. Personally I don’t think it detracts at all with the team name written below.
Also, just a side note, McNally hit the HR in ‘70 not in ‘71 nor in ‘24
