Default FS: JOHNNY EVERS Autographed Card

JOHNNY EVERS Heavy stock card measures 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 dated March 27th 1921. Has signed and also written "Manager Chicago Cubs Ball Club" Originally sold by Kevin Keating (Now an authenticator for PSA) in 2010 and comes with his original certificate of authenticity. Evers won the MVP award in 1914. The second baseman in the fabled Tinker to Evers to Chance double play trio. He played in Major League Baseball from 1902 through 1917 for the Chicago Cubs, Boston Braves, and Philadelphia Phillies. Cubs manager 1913 & 1921. He also appeared in one game apiece for the Chicago White Sox and Braves while coaching them in 1922 and 1929. Inducted into the Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1946 he died in 1947. $1,950.00
