You have to dig out the old issue of Baseball Cards Magazine with the article about going to the "Whitey Ford Clinic". I want to say it was 1990. Might have been the issue with Dwight Evans on the cover. If it's the issue I'm thinking of, the entire thing was the crowning achievement in card-related humor.

The writer talks about his wife rolling her eyes when he wallpapered their living room in Upper Deck foil, but drew the line at him calling their kids "Errors" and "Varietes".
