No tickets, but back in 1981, there was a contest in Philly, I think sponsored by one of the local newspapers, to give someone $3631 when Pete Rose set the NL hit record (previously held by Stan Musial with 3630). Rose tied the record against Nolan Ryan. He then struck out in his other 3 at bats to stay tied with Musial. Following the game, the players went on strike until mid-August. In the first game after the strike, Rose got a hit to break the NL record, and my barber was picked as the winner of $3631.
