Andy, That picture of Rigney was taken at the Oaks ballpark in Emeryville. October 26 was the date of the annual Alameda Elks charity game which attracted a number of major leaguers/ PCL players that lived in the Bay Area. "Kayo" was the dean of sports photographers from Oakland at the time. I've seen thousands of Kayo's photos (and own hundreds of them). Many are undated, but in this case its the day of the shoot...MM
