Imma agree with Warren on this one.

For my money, the collection is intended to be all fun. If I happen to make a little extra while doing it, I’m not going to turn it down. But it’s really not a motivating factor in my approach to collecting. If your primary motivation is to invest, particularly for cash that you really need, then I wish you the best of luck, and I hope it works out for you.

Of course, if I’m being honest, I also try to stay disciplined and not swing out of my shoes when a nice piece comes up for auction, although sometimes I struggle with that level of discipline. Usually that’s when I channel the Doc.
