Default FS: The Babe Bows Out Photo

early 1950's print, just missing the PSA Type 1 2-year window, with the ONLY difference from a $40K Type 1 example being the lack of Fein stamp on the reverse (could have easily been printed in 1948 but PSA will only give type 1 designation to prints with Fein's stamp). Signed by Fein and Ruth's good friend boxer Jack Dempsey.

Another "1950's print" with the exact same 'Herlad Tribune' (where Fein worked) stamp sold for $18.6K earlier this year in Heritage. Type ones tend to have this stamp as well in addition to the Fein stamp.

One of the most iconic and important photos ever, not just in the sports world. 1949 Pulitzer Prize winner. Essentially the exact same as a type one minus the Fein stamp, but save 30 grand.

$6500
