The one nice thing with it being on burlap is that it should be much easier to tell right through the slab what type of adhesive was used. If you're seeing any sort of discoloration on the back as the result of the glue, I would guess that to mean a harsher adhesive was used. If it's light in color, or not much evidence of anything, I'd venture it was attached with a paste and thereby a safer candidate for an easy soak.

The piece itself appears free from creases. My main concern with cards from such sets would be creases on things like arms, legs, heads or bats--any thinner, narrow areas which would be extra prone to separation if soaked.

I have never soaked this issue, so definitely defer to others with more familiarity.
