My father had the same surgery, and the recovery was a bit tougher than expected. A lot of meds were taken.

Dad is doing okay. His heart is as good as new. All the checkups involving his heart have come back with flying colors. The latest battle for him has been a stroke that he suffered roughly 6 months ago. He lost a little bit of mobility but he's been building it back up. He's still the same man that he was before hand, just things are done a little bit slower. Were the two related? I have no idea. Just been counting our blessings that he's still here with us, despite all that has occurred. With everything going on, haven't been able to spend as much time here on the forum, with all of you! I'm hoping he's well enough to attend some shows next year.
