Grew up during a time that parents simply told us to be home before the street lights come on.
Flash forward to a sales rep telling my company that they had a new machine that could send a copy of a letter from Los Angeles to New York in about an hour (they called it "flashmail"), we now call it a fax, and it's quicker.
Had a phone that was hardwired into my car. That was great technology ( I thought).
Finally bought a flip-phone and after many years ventured into the smart phone era.
I try to remain computer literate, but it's been a long, strange road I've been on. I miss the simpler times.
And Leon, also except my belated condolences on the loss of your wife. I was so sorry to learn that.
