Allan Robertson was a Scottish professional golfer who is widely regarded as the first professional golfer. He was born on September 11, 1815, in St Andrews, Scotland, and died on September 1, 1859.

Robertson was known for his exceptional skill and played a crucial role in the development of golf as a professional sport. He won numerous competitions and was highly respected among his peers.
