My dad was Dodger fan, especially Brooklyn Dodgers, even though born and raised in Minnesota. He and a buddy hitchhiked from small-town MN to NY at age 18 to watch the 1947 World Series and saw the Bill Bevens game. I remember Campy was one of his favorites.
My grandpa was a Cardinal and Stan Musial fan, at least until the Twins arrived.
My aunt had a crush on Bob Allison.
