My father only liked baseball of the four major sports. His team of coarse was the Phillies. He was a smoker and had lung cancer. During the 1980 World Series, (and playoffs) I watched all the games with him instead of hanging out with my friends watching at local bars. He was so happy when the Phillies got the last out to secure the title. He passed away a year later and I know it meant a lot to him that I was with him. It meant a lot to me also.
