Extremely rare early Major League Batting Helmet from Pittsburgh Pirates

SCD LOA

Has been in a private collection since 2004 when sold by Hunt Auctions for $3200.

Includes Letter of Provenance from the wife of the team doctor who received this item during his tenure with the Pirates.

For sale here at $4000 PPFF.

Likely a unique item.
