1961 had two All Star games. The first game was played on July 11th at Candlestick Park, SF, CA. The NL won the game in the 10th inning 5-4. Brooks started and went hitless again. Joining Brooks was Jackie Brandt and Hoyt Wilhelm. I am showing you the All Star pennants, ticket, program, and press pin. The other All Star game in 1961 was played on July 31st at Fenway Park in Boston. The game was ended in a tie given weather issues. Brooks started and finally got his first hit going 1 for 2. Also, this is the first year Brooks would appear on a All Star related baseball card. He had 5 assists in the two games. This one is a PSA 9 card part of his PSA Brooks Master Set.
