1950's Honus Wagner vintage reproduction 12x16 poster from 1969 with a first day issue profession baseball stamp. "a great day" by is based on a 1040's vintage poster and was stamped and canceled in 1969 by USPS in Cincinnati, Ohio, on sept 24th and is very rare! I have been researching this for the last week including auction houses and the stamp collectors’ forums. The conclusion is that we stumbled on a private collection. These were most likely produced for someone and ended up in a box, in storage. We cannot find any other examples of this exact with the canceled stamp on the internet, auctions houses or forums. We have only a very limited amount and once framed with provided matt it will be a collector’s dream. The date of 1969 has come and gone and this cannot be reproduced.
