And that solves a card dilemma for me. I collect a card of each player I've had on a fantasy sports team (baseball and football) going back to 1980. At some point last year I had Ronel Blanco but wasn't about to pay $20 for the only available card, a minor league issue from several years ago (and an ugly card at that) that has been on eBay. So I did what I usually do, cobble together a homebrew version and waited for him to get a mass market card.
His no-hitter means he'll have a Topps Now card tomorrow which I can get on the secondary market easily for $5-$6. Still too expensive but it will fill a hole.
The ugly minor league card noted above has been jacked to $100 by the seller tonight.
