I believe this photo appeared in The Sports Page (a Birmingham publication) in the late 1970s, because it was bought as part of a portfolio of work from Ben Killian, who was Associate Editor of that newspaper. The tape on the back is also consistent with paste up techniques for newspapers. The photograph measures 9”x12”. It appears to be a first state photo. That is, it is an original.
