Group of ten of what appear to be advertising or promotional cutouts for the 1926 Sports Company of America cards. The image sizes and print style are identical to the actual cards; but they are printed on a paper stock. I’ve sold some of the sheet cut blank back cards and these are definitely not the same as those. They are very similar to the Red Grange Sports Company of America cutouts which were produced only as promotional item. My guess is that these were once part of an advertising or proof sheet. I’m very confident that they are period. Full disclosure…I sent these to SGC and they would not grade them. With that said I am offering the group at a reasonable cost considering that it includes Ruth, Hornsby and a couple other headliners. SOLD.
