Many historic items left Ruth's apartment for the first time including this book. This is an original first edition 1941 "Pride of the Yankees" hardcover book that came directly from Babe's apartment. The cover of the book was destroyed over time and isn't offered with this book.

The book comes with a full LOA from the Ruth family and is tagged by Hunt Auctions (matching the LOA) to ensure the providence of the item.

This is a remarkable piece of Yankee's history as it was given to Babe Ruth after Lou's passing and the publishing of the book.
