I'm offering my original sale documents related to the 1919 transaction between the Red Sox and Yankees which resulted in the sale of Babe Ruth. Famed collector, Barry Halper obtained the entire lot many years ago and just recently the set was broken up and offered to collectors interested in getting a piece of the history.

I was able to obtain two corresponding documents regarding the loan and an ask for a reduction which was not granted by the Royal Bank of Canada.

Two separate letters feature the annotations of the New York Baseball Club and the Boston Red Sox.

Asking $1500 for the pair of documents. These won't be often found again.
