I agree with this assessment.

A good card doctor can remove wrinkles and creases or make the crease a small wrinkle. You would think the TPGs would be able to detect this but they usually don't understand how to recognize it or just don't care.

I'm not card doctor but years ago someone showed me how easy it is to "uncrease" or remove a wrinkle from a card. Personally, I wouldn't do it because there is a chance of making it worse if you don't know what you're doing.
