Hey Jay - I forget the specifics on the original collection that the Young came from, but it included an additional half dozen or so other 1893 Pifer & Becker cabinets. I believe that all of them had the respective players’ names written on the front - supposedly in Cy’s hand. Maybe Young originally wrote his first name on the front of his cabinet at one point and then signed his full name again when he mailed the whole group to a fan? The Young cabinet also comes with the envelope that the cabinets were originally mailed in, which is also supposedly in Young’s hand.

I have never seen seen any of these cabinets in person, but I think that I saved images of them on my computer somewhere.
