Just an FYI -
I refer to this Mathewson as a "type 4 NY", it's the 4th different picture used by Baseball Magazine for a Mathewson supplement, and there is a version with "New York" instead of "NY" for the right side caption (and each of those versions have more esoteric font variations, for a total of six type 4s.
I believe that it was first released in November 1941, then reprinted at least five more times.
