Good morning - bought in an online auction - linked below - may have some paperwork and will need to check...Don't think there is a "COA" per se.......
I lived in the Tidewater area in this era and know what they wore as I was a regular at Tides games and was getting into the game used hobby at that time....
Having owned several Tides game used jerseys from this era over the years, this matches perfectly to those......Medalist is the proper manufacturer - the size is perfect for Mookie ( M ) - he wore a 38 in this era with the Mets.....He wore #2 with the Tides....They wore the Medalist blue with this font like this in 1979, 1980 and I believe 1981.....They may have worn them early in '82 and switched to the cursive logo sometime during that season / playoffs....Strawberry jersey shown below from 1982...

They recycled jerseys back then and this would have been worn three years....Mookie was there in 1979 and 1980 for two full seasons.....
The two colors worn by the Tides in 1978 were orange and white with this font, so is it NOT from 1978...
I have no question this jersey was worn by Mookie and would actually guarantee it to pass any third party authentication....I have been in this hobby way too long as not only a game used bat expert, but very knowledgeable on game used Yankees, Mets and Tides jerseys from the 60's through the late 80's.....That may no mean much to most, but some of you out here know who I am and my history in the hobby....
I really didn't care if it had a COA, but will double check as mentioned - I know my jerseys and jumped at it when it was in auction....I am just moving a lot of jerseys that don't fit my main collection...
Here is a pic of Mookie on his TCMA card from that era:

As mentioned in the listing, I will add a PSA slabbed Mookie TCMA card....
Thanks!
