When Sandy Koufax pitched his perfect game, Bob Hendley allowed 1 run on 1 hit and 1 walk.

Then there is Juan Marichal beating Warren Spahn 1-0 in the bottom of the 16th inning. A combined 311/3 shutout innings by two Hall of Fame pitchers.
