Ended September on a card rampage at a show, making some great grabs...
It started with some real nice
1972 high numbers and stars, including a sweet
Ron Cey RC (sort of a semi-important, forgotten card from the high series)...

The same seller had a nicely-centered
Carlton Fisk RC with the high numbers and stars, and then he had a PSA 6 in his case for $10 more than the ungraded one. Decisions, decisions. Didn't want to choose, so I ended up negotiating a price to take both of them home instead...

Next, I was able to secure a quintet of rock solid, tough
1969 Topps White Letter Variations...

Lastly, but not leastly, I was able to land a trio of mid-grade
(Ha! Mid-grade, my ass!) incredible all-time greats.
Willie Mays and
Hank Aaron are both new grades, so they look so much better than what the number says they are. Look at the incredible black of the
'71 Mays. That's 8-worthy!! And
'The Left Arm of God' is also suh-weet..
