Ruth balls have definitely jumped in value over the last few years.

While the pairing with the Cubs is definitely unusual and somewhat niche, I wonder whether for a Cubs fan, that would be an interesting piece.

A Ruth auto on the sweet spot with a 8 auto is pretty cool even with the overlap with Hornsby (which definitely detracts but the Ruth is still very legible. The auto's of Hornsby and Wilson would really add value to most balls, but on this I think it is a bit of a wash given the unusual pairing.

Looking at recent sales, my estimate is that it could sell in the $5K-$7K range at auction.
