Ultra rare Teenie Harris (photographer) photo of Jackie Robinson. Teenie Harris was the preeminent baseball photographer here in Pittsburgh. He dealt exclusively in Negro League and Black photography. One of the most influential and important baseball photographers in the mid 20th century and it cannot be stated enough how rare his original photos are.
In the late 1980s, as Teenie was getting up there in age, his brother (without permission) used to sell these right on the street in the Strip District area of Pittsburgh. All are 16x20 and were all framed. I was lucky enough to buy 3. They are all 1 of a kind in original frames. I wish I would have bought every one he had.
Photo has some glare from the glass, but is flawless.
