Nice interview. A couple of takeaways:
- I don't think Mr. Perez had much insight into the marketing and distribution of the postcards. Sounds like the Steele's handled that part.
- With his comments about how Peggy handled the closing of the P-S Gallery after her husband's death, it would not surprise me at all if she sold some/all of the registration cards to someone as a way to liquidate the assets of the business.
- I was surprised when Dick said that Peggy didn't even have a list of his paintings and to whom they were sold.
- I would wager that your registration cards are original with legit player signatures, except for those filled out by a spouse/relative.
Have you reached out to Bill Daniels or Gallery of Full Steps about the registration cards? They are two of the biggest distributors of the cards on the secondary market.
