Just a quick reminder that the LOTG Summer Premier Auction is closing tonight. Extended bidding begins at 9pm.

We've got some great pieces in this auction, including a few I'd like to point out here.

A 1923-24 Oscar Charleston rookie card from the Tomas Gutierrez set is unbelievably rare, one of the most important Cuban cards and the second-highest graded by SGC. These cards rarely make themselves available at auction.

A great collection of c.1917 baseball gear discovered in France, part of the Knights of Columbus/YMCA fundraiser organized by Clark Griffith to deliver athletic gear to US troops stationed overseas during the war. The group includes two Ty Cobb bats, an Eddie Collins bat, and a gorgeous group of Spalding bats - 9 bats, 3 chest protectors, 3 catcher's masks and the "War Chest" labeled "Hellfire Boys"!

A large group of "Cameo Pepsin" pins, one of the largest we've seen come to auction, each sold individually.

A tremendous 1878 Buffalo Bisons team card that contains the earliest image of Pud Galvin in a baseball uniform, the most attractive of just three known examples.

A ticket from the 1919 game where Babe Ruth set the single season home run record

And for you boxing collectors, Mickey Walker's 1931 Ring Magazine belt, which inexplicably only has one bid as of this posting. Seldom do belts this old become available, particularly for fighters of Walker's caliber.

Of course there's also the typical assortment of scarce prewar cards and memorabilia that we're always thrilled to offer.

We'll be up late tonight with the auction close, so if you're thinking of selling any quality vintage material, it's a great time to get in touch.

Best of luck to all our consignors and bidders!

Another fantastic auction Al, congrats.
I can only hope you East Coast guys fall asleep early so us West Coasters can swoop in and and add to our collections.
You guys won't let the National come West of the Rockies, which is fine, we get the AH Greenwich Mean Time advantage on y'all, fair dinkum...
