Interesting wrinkle with the vault. I suppose it's always possible that the vault was a factor in moving your modern submission to the top of the pile. However, my experience over the last ~12 months is that modern flies right through in a few weeks, while vintage takes 3-6 months.

So it may be less about the vault and just more about modern moving quick due to more capacity in that team. I'm guessing they hired aggressively due to a large backlog of modern submissions over the last few years, and now that they've cleared the modern backlog, with modern submissions down these days, there is a lot more modern capacity relative to submissions.
