Arrived Tuesday to find I’d booked a regular room at the Fairfield Inn and Suites instead of a Suite so Spike Doug Taylor and I are in close quarters it’s a nice new room but we got two men on the floor with extra pillows and blankets it’s tight but we’re making it work.
Got to the show around noon to pick up VIP pass I only got $10 for my autograph sheet and $10 for this freebie sticker of some kind also ebay included a $10 promo code.
VIP pre party sodas pizza sliders pretty good food for free.
Great to see all the regular dealers I didn’t get to all the tables yet. I did work out before the show but my i-watch shows 20,813 steps. I have no idea where I’ve been or haven’t been on the floor.
Did some damage to my 1955 Topps Double Headers did not see any National Chicle Football cards I needed (hi numbers).
Fun pickup 80 1933 World Wide Gum Ice King hockey cards $5 each severely trimmed a few are skinned a couple are from a different set too. Traffic jam in the parking lot on exit so we parked and walked behind garage and ate there no traffic when we returned from dinner. Show seems really big. Having a blast. Feet are killing me.
