Mantle's Signatures Value
As many of us know The Mick was a pretty prolific signer in his day. He was a regular on the show circuit, yet his signatures still commanded a premium, mainly because of his significance in the history of American pop culture.
I've tracked everything from 8x10's to single signed bats and balls. Mantle's signature is still a good amount above guys like Mays, DiMaggio and Williams. Just to pose a question to you all, had Mantle lived longer, do you think his signed products would be less valuable as of today? Even if it was something arbitrary like ten more years.
I would have to think he would be less valuable, as he would've had more time on the show circuit. Thoughts?
