I think that’s seems to be the consensus for all sellers with just barely enough knowledge to be dangerous.
Rarity does not create value, only supply and demand…99% of people tend to not understand that. It’s not worthless as it’s likely a 60 to 200 dollar card depending on the eyes on the auction or in the room. However, it could take 16 months of listings to get top dollar and still not meet the golden dreams of an owner who thinks anything under 5 grand is an insult.
As a collector of oddball rarities, there are cards I have seen listed not just for 6 months I am interested in, but rather 6 years straight of pie in the sky fantasy prices.
