This is the original 1953 Sport Magazine Man of the Year Plaque awarded to the "Ol Professor", Casey Stengel. This item has been in a private collection since 2007. Comes with the original LOA from Stengel's niece for provenance. Plaque presents well with the only real issue on the right hand eagle where the gold paint has flaked off clearly seen in the photos. Includes an original full copy of the Sport Magazine featuring Casey on the cover.
