Lodge DID run with Nixon in 1960. Close loss….. will leave it at that to avoid politics!!! This is a part of the crazy but true fact that from 1952 to 2004 only ONE Republican ticket ( President or VP) did not have either Nixon , Dole, or Bush!!! Hard to believe but true!!!
