Default FS: WWII Signed/Inscribed 1941-42 ONL Flew Over the Atlantic! $300

An amazing story comes with this well-traveled Official National League (Frick) baseball. It originates from the collection of a Colonel Schroeder, who served in World War II, and the ball dates to the 1941-42 period. Written on a side panel near the crisp main stamp in black ink is, "This ball flew the Atlantic twice with U.S.O Unit 417 and was in France, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg and Germany," along with a signature by sportswriter J. Roy Stockton. Also included is the original Spalding bag.
