I think it works either way.

listing the price or not does not bother me. Perhaps they are looking to see what offers might be out there or perhaps they are not sure how much something might be worth and they are trying to do what is comfortable for them. IT might cause them to miss some buyers

For those looking to buy if you do not see a price and what to skip it (which is your right) then just pass it.

I have seen some great sellers do it both ways. To me I look and if it is something I want I reach out and if we can reach a deal all good if not we move on
