Graig Kreindler painted this portrait of Matty as he was depicted in Benjamin Falk's cabinet photograph (posted by Paul H earlier).
The same image was "photoshopped" for his W600 Uniform version.
The image was used again to make his 1915 Cracker Jack when he was 35 years old.
This Paul Thompson photo, dated to the 1910s, while not a carbon-copy pose, might well have served as an inspiration for his 1914 Cracker Jack.
The same can be said for the 1914 E&S Postcard.
(I no longer own this item. Sold it a couple of LOTG auctions ago after having failed to predict the collectibles mega-bubble we are now navigating. My bad).
