Default Blank Backs... on the wrong stock

I collect Blank backs for pretty much all Topps vintage, they are a fun complement to a set and usually pretty cheap. Many of them are misadvertised, the vast majority are just from sheets that for one reason or another didn't get finished. They are usually not proofs, or samples, or "1/1".

Some of the cooler ones though, are not from normal production. Flipping through a stack of them I re-discovered this Albie Pearson I have form 1963. Topps didn't use this stock in 1963, they wouldn't use something like it until 1971, but they did use an at least similar gray stock in 1962. It stands out form most 1963 blank backs that are on the proper stock. Presumably it is either from a sheet that was unfinished and scrapped when they used the wrong stock by accident, or it is from pre-production as an internal or print shop sample.

Let's seem other blank backs from the wrong stock. There are others floating around.
