Default Auto-Ball Novelty Co. , Pittsburgh, PA

The item below was produced in 1925, by the Auto-Ball Novelty Company to commemorate the 1925 Pittsburgh Pirates World Series with the Washington Senators.

It consists of a mounting plate which attaches to the radiator cap on which the ball and flags are mounted.

Does anyone know anything at all about items such as this? I have never seen one before. The completed item is not large enough to impede the vision of the driver presumably.

It seems to be in fair shape for its age. If you have any info or interest in the item, let me know. I do not own it, but I know where it is.
