It seems to me extremely unlikely that there just happened to be an immediate increase in demand of such magnitude that a common card went up 10x at a seemingly random moment. I also suspect this is why it’s slowly been coming down, those small number of people who seem to be buying most of them and pumping it up aren’t sustaining forever.
