However, he would not talk by phone, only by email and "whatsapp" - a phone app for texting, I think. He stated he did not have an ebay ID (hard to believe a collector without one), and wanted me to transfer half of money up front, and the other half upon receipt of the bat, via paypal.
His emails included bizarre statements like:
"I can scan a picture of the bat with my name , today date and i can also draft a term of contract as to fitness and merchantable quality of the bat placing it on the bat"
Just beware . . . he and others could be scanning net 54 posts and trying to scam others here . . . likely using a wide range of email addresses and names, just thought I would share.

I sent you a legit message informing you of a Groh bat currently at auction. It isn't my bat or auction house and I have no vested interest. I'm obviously not the guy you reference, but if he sent you a picture, he might've pulled it from that auction listing.
