1937 “Baseball” Magazine; Joe DiMaggio on cover, Lou Gehrig on back
Beautiful 1937 baseball magazine, with a very young Joe DiMaggio on the cover and Lou Gehrig on the back. Nice photo of Gehrig inside the magazine as well.
The cover presents beautifully, but quite a few pages are loose and there is some chipping on the binding. I have it currently in a hard plastic holder used as a really cool background complementary item to my DiMaggio card (sorry, card is not for sale!)
this particular issue doesn’t seem to be available for sale very often and I’m discounting the price significantly to account for the loose pages. But if you are a fan of DiMaggio and beautiful magazine covers, this one is pretty cool!
