FS: 1898 mounted photograph of a New York City trolley/streetcar destined for the Polo Grounds. There is an 1898 notation on the reverse, and I'd say the photo definitely dates 1895-1900. Essentially a Type 1, although it can't be certed as such since it is mounted on board. Looks to have been trimmed down at some point, now measuring 4.25" x "7.25. Condition is good overall with noted trim. Couple rough edges, and there is a crease that can be seen at the left border (better seen on reverse). This photo is a true rarity. Polo Grounds, New York City, and transportation history all in one.
