Not a new pick up, but freshly graded yesterday. I've been having fun going through my 52 to 56 Topps and Bowmans and grading my HOFers. I've had A's to 6's...but really don't care. Just love the look and fun to do.
This was one of the 6 just completed...I thought for sure it would be a 2.5 or 3...no creases or wrinkles...a little tilted and corners certainly soft...but a 1.5? Oh well...

I did finish the set (started with about 100 from the initial lot) with EXish cards so the goal now will be to slowly replace the marked cards, although I will keep them whole as they are cool to have. I had no idea what this Mantle would grade out to with the ink, no idea how SGC handles ink. Turns out, I got an A for "Evidence of Trimming". Which is funny...I got these directly from the guy who purchased them from the older man who opened them in packs. So...and besides...have you ever seen a stack of 55 Bowman? Not one card is the same size!
Again, oh well...
The rest graded out as expected...
