Ruth and Gehrig have been 'out' for a while. What is interesting to me is the strong prices on the next tiers of HOFers.

PC Backs:
--Cobb SGC 5.5 $4,500
--Foxx (RC) PSA 2 $5,100
--Johnson SGC 4 $1,560; red tint SGC 3 $1,560
--Hornsby SGC 5 $900, SGC 4 $570
--Waner SGC 6 $1,140
--4 on 1 w/Vance and O'Doul raw and lower grade $900

1921 Collins PSA 5 $390
1921 Johnson SGC 5 $1,920

1922 Eastern Exhibits:
PSA 5:
--Johnson $2,280
--Cobb $3,300
--Alexander $1200
--Heilmann $510
PSA 5.5
--Speaker $480
--Collins $390
PSA 6
--Hornsby $2,160

1925 Johnson PSA 4 $1,800
1925 Speaker PSA 6 $960

1927
--Johnson PSA 4 $960
--Collins PSA 5.5 $600
--Speaker PSA 3.5 $510

1929-30 4-on-1 Ruth/Gehrig SGC 5 $10,200

Basically, any Cobb is now a four-figure card and Johnson is getting there. The other strong HOFers have been creeping up as well. I'd like to see what some of the other RCs and scarcer cards go for in this market.

On the postwar side, the Jackie Robinson thing continues with an SGC 5 getting $660. Robinson was a $50-$75 card several years ago.
