I am not sure if the counter came with the game. I have seen lots of the cards over the years and don't remember a reference to the counter. That said it could be....
As for value, my gut tells me not a lot for the counter, as the ebay current auctions has a nice one for around 40 bucks...in auction now.
As for the cards I have seen quite a few and they do have a little value. They tend to come in a bit better grade so I would guess yours are in the 15-20 dollar range each.
